August 2024 Developments of Note:

 

  • Wonder Theatre released the remainder of the 2024 Lineup. Upcoming shows are The Wiz, The Prom, and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. The theater offers half-season passes as well as individual tickets. Don't miss these exciting performances at Wonderland of the Americas.
  • Save the Date, September 14, 2024, for 'Through the Looking Glass Affair', the annual gala celebrating thirteen (13) seasons at Wonder Theatre. The night includes local talent, food, beverages, and the big reveal of the upcoming 2025 season! Visit the site for ticket information. 

  • The Balcones Heights Economic Development Corporation (BHEDC) welcomed two members to the Board at the July regular meeting. Ms. Christine Vina, VIA Metropolitan Transit and Mr. Jeremy Jacob, Float SA, bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to the group.

  • Its 'Back to School Time'. Texas' Tax-Free Weekend takes place August 9-11, 2024. While shopping, remember to 


NOW OPEN:

  • Wonderland of the Americas welcomed three new businesses to the property. Ribbon Cutting ceremonies were held June 8, 2024, for Pops Bakery; and July 20, 2024, for Vicious Eats. Both are located on the lower level in the Food Court. Also on the lower level, Blue Print Massage celebrated its opening August 3, 2024. 
  • Inspiriamo Pizza Lounge has opened at 4109 Fredericksburg Rd., 78201. Owners Kevin Held and Genna Fox bring their ten years of experience from Alaska to Balcones Heights. Visit the Italian restaurant with a Tex-Mex fusion for an unapologetic, unimaginable 'Leel of Flavor' menu!
